Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

Device information. When you pair an iPad or iPhone with your account, we store a device name and a unique device identifier so the app can sync your events and so you can see and revoke paired devices from the dashboard.

Event content. Photos, videos, and other media captured at your events are uploaded from the app to your account’s private gallery. This content is yours — see Section 6 below.

Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by Revolut. We store a summary of your card (e.g. last 4 digits) and your subscription status, but we never see or store your full card number.

Usage data. We record basic technical data such as when a device was last online, so you can see device status on your dashboard.

2. How we use your information

We use the information above to operate the service: authenticate you and your devices, sync events between the dashboard and the app, store and deliver your event photos, process billing through Revolut, and provide customer support.

We do not use your event content or account information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties.

3. Where your data is stored

Account and event data is stored in a database hosted on IONOS Cloud infrastructure. Photos and videos are stored using an S3-compatible object storage service, also hosted on IONOS. Passwords are hashed; device tokens and dashboard session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, never in plain text.

4. Sharing your information

We share information only with the service providers necessary to run EventyBooth: Revolut (payment processing) and IONOS (hosting and storage). We do not sell or rent your data to anyone else.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and event data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data — including event photos and device pairings — is permanently deleted, typically within a few minutes, as described in Section 8.

6. Your event content

Photos and videos captured at your events belong to you. We only process and store them in order to provide the service — syncing them to your dashboard, hosting the gallery, and delivering them to your guests when you choose to share a gallery link.

7. Cookies

The web dashboard uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your rights and account deletion

You can review and update your account details from the dashboard at any time. You can permanently delete your account — including all events, photos, and paired devices — from the app’s account menu (“Delete My Account”), or by contacting us at the email below.

9. Children’s privacy

EventyBooth is intended for business and personal event use by adults. We do not knowingly collect account information from children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
